Testimonials

“I worked with Julie on a high-profile multi-million dollar project that had tight deadlines, dozens of projects to complete, and several vendors with dozens of people offering creative input. She made everything run smoothly, consistently delivering high-caliber work on time and within the confines of a very challenging environment. She is a beautiful writer, led on the conceptual phase, and drove a creative process to success. We exceeded all expectations of our projects because Julie was a key leader in the process.”

“Julie joined PRD’s team to provide content research and writing for a county history center. The project was already in progress, but she jumped right in learning the ins and outs of the project, collaborating with the client team members, and zeroing in on their goals. I was impressed with how Julie sifted through more than 400 years of history, distilling it into carefully crafted stories with an eye on diverse viewpoints representative of the community. Julie is an easy-going, talented, and dedicated professional, and I look forward to working with her again.”

Julie wowed me with her ability to go deep into a subject matter while also keeping her eyes on the big picture, taking a mountain of relevant content and editing it down to a selection of accessible, visitor-friendly displays. She managed the project like a pro. Her knowledge, organization, and easy-going nature made my job easier. Julie was a terrific creative collaborator who embraced input and ideas that others brought to the project.”

Julie worked with JMM’s archival staff to customize our new PastPerfect database with specific parameters needed for our collections. She created a comprehensive standard operating procedure for inputting different categories of data into the database. She also expedited the process of downloading metadata from a different database by finding an automated app to handle the workload. Additionally, Julie facilitated the digitization of JMM's 560 video oral history interviews through a third-party agency. Her work was very detail-oriented, while always meeting deadlines in a timely manner and making JMM's digitization efforts much more efficient. JMM would not hesitate to work with her again on another project.
