Exhibit Development

I develop concepts, content, and interpretive strategies for exhibitions and lead execution and evaluation of visitor experiences.

Editorial and Art Direction
I will help you determine the stories you want to tell and the best way to tell them. I can also provide guidance as we create a graphic look and feel and develop visual elements that enhance your project.

Asset Curation and Acquisition
Based on your specific needs, I can help you identify objects and archival assets within your collections that best fit your stories or help source where we can get them. When it comes to media, I can advise you or take it on myself to ensure you have the permission to use things the way you want to use them.

Prototyping and Testing
You can’t just slap something together and call it done. Exhibit development is an iterative process. I will help facilitate prototyping, evaluation, and testing of exhibit components focusing on usability, functionality, comprehension, and level of engagement.

Exhibit Evaluation
Evaluation is so important throughout the exhibit development process and even after installation and opening. Otherwise, how will we know we are achieving your goals? I will develop and implement audience research, exhibit evaluation, and remediation strategies.

Installation
You’re in the home stretch. The content is there. The cases are made. Now you just have to put it all together. I can supervise onsite installation of exhibits and ensure quality control.
