You! The Experience
Client/Company: Cortina Productions
Project Description: Cortina Productions produced an immersive animated film experience and an interactive exhibit relating to pregnancy for the YOU! The Experience exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry. With Make Room For Baby, a two-screen interactive, visitors can see how a mother’s body changes during pregnancy. The CINE award winner Fantastic Journey envelops viewers with a 29-foot-wide screen and a complex soundscape providing the perspective of a fetus from inside the womb.
Julie’s Role: Project Manager / Producer
I managed the production, post-production, and installation phases of the project working closely with the client. For Making Room for Baby, I oversaw graphic design, production, and programming. The production process for Fantastic Journey was complicated and layered. I collaborated with Cortina’s creative director and the lead animator to ensure the highest quality animations and coordinated a full surround sound audio mix to enhance the storytelling. You might even hear my cameo performance as the mother singing a lullaby.
